Azerbaijan e-Visa for Lithuanian Citizens

Prepare for Azerbaijan with your Lithuanian passport and a separate check of any child’s travel arrangements. Lithuania’s country advice gives a clear passport-expiry rule; the visa process and permission for a child to travel answer different questions.

The short answer

Do Lithuanian citizens need an Azerbaijan visa?

Lithuanian ordinary passport holders need a visa and can use Azerbaijan’s e-Visa route for an eligible short visit. Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry lists the Lithuanian passport as the travel document and describes a single-entry electronic visa allowing up to 30 days. National ID-card travel within Europe does not replace the passport for this journey.

Before you start

Three checks for your Lithuanian passport

01

Bring the Lithuanian passport

The country advice lists a passport for Azerbaijan. An asmens tapatybės kortelė used on a European trip is not the identity-page upload here.

02

Check who accompanies the child

A trip outside Schengen can require consent for a child travelling alone or with another accompanying person. Establish the actual circumstances early.

03

Calculate beyond visa expiry

Lithuania’s advice requires at least three months of passport validity after the visa ends, not simply after the flight home.

Azerbaijan e-Visa prices for Lithuanian applicants

Choose around your intended arrival in Azerbaijan. Both packages cover the same single-entry e-Visa and permitted stay, with different processing options.

Standard e-Visa

$59USD / applicant

3 working days

For travel planned ahead. Allow extra time for document checks, public holidays and any requests for clarification.

Apply Standard — $59

Urgent e-Visa

$99USD / applicant

3-hour processing option

For a nearer departure. The urgent option operates on weekends and holidays; complete and accurate documents still matter.

Apply Urgent — $99

Each price is the total evis.az package price for one applicant. Published processing windows apply after a complete visa application is submitted. Preparation, corrections and requests for information can take additional time. Azerbaijan's authorities decide approval and entry.

Use the pasas and its document number

The Lithuanian country page names the Lithuanian passport as the appropriate travel document for Azerbaijan. Prepare its identity page and read the document number from it. An identity card, an asmens kodas or a number saved in a domestic account should not supply a field asking for the travel document’s passport number.

This guide follows Lithuanian citizenship on an ordinary passport. A person living in Lithuania on a foreign passport should assess that passport’s nationality instead. Likewise, Lithuania’s separate discussion of diplomatic and service passports should not be read as a visa exemption for an ordinary holiday passport.

Azerbaijan is a separate child-travel check from a Schengen holiday

Lithuania’s Justice Ministry explains that consent requirements depend on the child’s accompanying person and whether the destination is outside Schengen. A child travelling alone or with someone other than a parent or guardian can need notarised parental consent. A carrier can also ask for documentation. Check the specific arrangement rather than relying on what was accepted for an earlier European journey.

Prepare a separate visa application from the child’s own passport. Any consent or relationship papers belong in the travel-document preparation; they do not replace the passport image requested in the electronic form. If the child has a different surname, review the name on the passport and supporting relationship documents before departure.

For a family group, keep one identity-page image per traveller and check that it is attached to the correct record. A shared delivery email can simplify organisation, but an adult’s visa or passport record cannot be reused as the child’s permission.

Use the end of the visa window for the passport calculation

Lithuanian travel advice expressly requires the passport to last at least three months after the visa expiry. An e-Visa normally has a 90-day validity window, while the maximum stay is up to 30 days within its issued dates. Those periods serve different purposes and should not be added together as an entitlement to a longer holiday.

Choose the intended start from the local Azerbaijan arrival in your actual itinerary. Then compare passport expiry with the resulting visa end date. If you will renew the passport before the trip, use the replacement once issued and replace any old image or number saved with a booking.

Choose a USD package and check the visa that is delivered

The Standard package is $59 USD per applicant with a three-working-day processing window. Urgent is $99 USD as its own total, with a three-hour option operating during weekends and holidays. They are not EUR quotations or a single family price. Leave time for a complete application, corrections if needed and inspection of the result.

Before payment, compare the surname, given names, date of birth, passport number and chosen package for every person. When the PDF arrives, check the permitted entry and stay dates and print the matching document. If the itinerary leaves Azerbaijan and comes back, review the second entry separately; the ordinary e-Visa is single-entry.

Lithuanian guidance also highlights registration for visits exceeding 15 days. Confirm who will handle place-of-stay registration at the actual accommodation. The issued visa is not proof that a hotel or private host has completed it.

Keep these to hand

Your Lithuanian passport application checklist

  • Your Lithuanian passport and a clear, current identity-page image.
  • Passport number checked separately from asmens kodas and identity-card details.
  • Passport expiry at least three months beyond visa expiry.
  • Each child’s passport, accompanying adult and consent situation reviewed.
  • Local arrival, accommodation address and accessible email confirmed.
  • The individual USD package and all traveller records checked before checkout.

Check passport expiry against the visa's expiry date: the passport must remain valid for at least three months after that date. The 90-day visa window does not allow a 90-day stay; the maximum stay is 30 days.

Questions from Lithuanian travellers

Can Lithuanians use an identity card for the Azerbaijan e-Visa?

Prepare a Lithuanian passport. The Lithuanian country advice lists that travel document, and the application requires its identity page. An identity card used for European travel should not replace it.

Is asmens kodas the number requested in the passport field?

No. Read the document number from the current passport. The personal identification code and an identity-card number identify different records.

Does a Lithuanian child travelling with another adult need more than a visa?

Check the separate consent rules for a trip outside Schengen. Lithuanian Justice Ministry guidance describes notarised consent for children travelling alone or with another accompanying person, depending on the circumstances. The carrier’s requirements also need checking.

Do the three months of passport validity start from my return flight?

Lithuania’s Azerbaijan advice uses the end of the visa validity period as the reference point. Compare with the visa expiry, which can be later than the end of a brief visit.

Can I enter Azerbaijan twice on the same Lithuanian passport e-Visa?

The usual e-Visa is single-entry. A return after leaving Azerbaijan needs an appropriate entry arrangement even if the original visa’s printed end date has not passed.

What are the Standard and Urgent package prices for Lithuanian applicants?

The Standard package is $59 USD per applicant; Urgent is $99 USD per applicant. These are the total evis.az application service package prices. Choose either package to carry its processing option and total into the application form.
