Is an urgent Azerbaijan e-Visa right for your trip?
The Urgent option is designed for eligible travellers who need a faster visa decision. Choose it when three working days would leave too little time before arrival. Your evis.az package costs $99 USD per applicant; Urgent will already be selected when you start.
Your arrival is approaching
Count back from your arrival in Azerbaijan. The urgent application must be submitted at least three hours before arrival, so leave extra time for document checks, payment and any corrections.
A weekend falls before your trip
The three-hour government processing option includes holidays and non-working days. Our payment and application checks still need to be completed before submission.
You have time to plan ahead
If your dates comfortably allow three working days plus preparation time, Standard at $59 USD per applicant may suit your trip. Compare the two package prices.
How long does an urgent Azerbaijan e-Visa take?
The published government consideration time is three hours. Your evis.az order also needs payment confirmation, a check of your details and passport copy, and submission. Those stages come before government consideration; paying here does not start a guaranteed three-hour delivery countdown.
| Planning point | Standard | Urgent |
|---|---|---|
| Government processing | 3 working days | 3 hours, including non-working days |
| Minimum submission lead time | 3 working days before arrival | 3 hours before arrival |
| Validity begins | The approved start date, subject to the Standard processing lead time | The day the visa is issued |
An urgent visa has a 90-day validity window and permits one entry with a stay of up to 30 days within its dates. Its validity starts on issuance, so ordering well before a distant trip can use up part of that window. A planned arrival entered in the form does not reserve a later Urgent start date.

Urgent e-Visa questions before you book
Is a same-day or express Azerbaijan visa a different visa?
These terms usually describe the Urgent processing option. “Same day” is not a separate visa category or a promised result: a three-hour consideration period can cross midnight, and preparation comes before submission.
Does Urgent guarantee approval?
No. Urgent changes the processing option. You still need an eligible travel passport, complete information and an acceptable passport copy; the visa decision depends on meeting the entry requirements.
Can I upgrade a Standard application that is already pending?
An automatic upgrade is not available in the application flow. Contact our support with your existing reference so your case can be checked before you pay for another application.
Can I select a future start date for an urgent visa?
Urgent validity begins on the issue date. Plan your arrival and departure within the issued visa's dates; selecting a future arrival in the application does not change that rule.
What does the $99 price cover?
It is the full evis.az Urgent package price for one applicant. Each additional traveller has a separate charge. See package totals and payment currency before choosing.
